Thirlmere

Home of the famous Railway Museum, we come into town on Day #33, Wednesday Oct 7.

Our Daily Ceremony will be held at 17:00 in the Trainworks grounds, with contributions from the Thirlmere RSL sub-branch, a welcome to the Wollondilly Shire by the Mayor, and greetings from MPs Angus Taylor (Hume) and Jai Rowell (Wollondilly).

Camp overnight with a massive contribution from Trainworks – sleeping on the Southern Aurora, no less!

We break camp the next day, Thursday 8th Oct bound for Camden, and our brief sojourn in the Wollondilly Shire concludes after a circuit around the main streets of Picton around the middle of the day.

The Original March: What Happened

At Thirlmere the march was divided into two sections.  One section marched on to The Oaks for lunch and then continued onto Camden where they would spend the night.  The other section marched to Douglas Park via Picton.

Enlist now to march in the Kangaroo March Re-enactment.
