We arrive in Breadalbane from Gunning on Day # 19, Wednesday Sept 23rd, to camp overnight  adjacent to the splendid new Breadalbane Hall.    Plans are afoot for a great night in Breadalbane!   An enthusiastic local Committee is developing a programme that includes the local school students to some of the relatives of those who went off to that Great War. Sally McLean and her team have beavered hard and the school under Malena Gerstenberg’s stewardship is participating fully too.

The next morning we depart the Upper Lachlan Shire moving on to the Wollondilly River just outside Parkesbourne the following day.

The Original March:  What Happened

The march left Gunning on the 20th of December and headed towards Breadalbane.  They stopped for lunch at Fish River on the way and then marched on.  The camped that night in Apps’ paddock, opposite the Breadalbane Hotel.  The evening meal was provided by the people of Collector, Parkesbourne, Cullerin and Breadalbane.

Enlist now to march in the Kangaroo March Re-enactment.
