We arrive from Binalong Day # 13, Thursday Sept 17, and will stay overnight, camping around the Oval. We leave the following morning for Yass.

The Original March:  What Happened

The marchers left Binalong on the morning of December 14 and headed towards Bowning.  The route was more undulating than they were used to and fifteen men with blistered and chafed feet needed to complete the journey by train.  The rest of the marchers were, again, drenched by a late afternoon thunderstorm as they neared Bowning.

The marchers camped that night at the school grounds in Bowning before reveille at 5:30 am the following morning.  On the morning of December 15 the March set out on the 9 mile journey from Bowning to Yass.
